Listen to different styles, and pick 3-5 styles you would like to work with.
Then listen to melodies that get you up and going.
Pick a melody and add your own lyrics
Keep editing and singing it every time you practice.
Show your friends or people you see around to get their perspective on your song.
If it's not good, keep working on it.
If it's good, keep writing songs; Maybe even sell an album later on!!
